Me
Born in the bronx, raised in Spanish Harlem. As a kid technology always sparked an interest in me. I knew from a young age that I wanted to be in the tech industry, I just wasnt aware at which capacity, let alone how enormous the tech world is.
Inspiration
In high school I was part of this program called Mouse Squad. This program teaches kids to use creative technology and Computer Science to create innovative solutions. At Mouse Squad I was part of the robotics team, and it was there where my interest for Software Development grew.
Journey
After high school I went on to college to become a Software Developer, but after a few years college was becoming an expensive option. I received a newletter from New York City Housing Authority advertising Pursuit. I went to an info session and saw a great opportunity to continue my goals of becoming a Software Developer. So I applied and what an amazing experience it has been.
